Discreet delivery info
Every SOUCI order ships with discreet packaging on by default — no extra step at checkout, no upgrade fee, no exception. The page below is a complete tour of what your parcel looks like, how the carrier handles it, and what we do (and don’t do) with the records afterwards.
Our discreet promise
- Plain unbranded kraft box. No logos. No category names. Nothing on the outside reveals what’s inside.
- Sender printed as Rouwu Lifestyle Co. by default — fully editable to anything you choose.
- Carrier label shows your name and address only, no product description.
- Tracking notifications go to your email and phone only. Never shared with anyone else.
- Shipping records are auto-purged 30 days after delivery confirmation.
What the package looks like
Outside
A standard double-wall corrugated kraft box, brown, no print of any kind. The only visible items are the carrier waybill (your name, address, parcel weight) and the recyclability mark mandated by local law. There is no SOUCI logo, no product imagery, no QR code that decodes to anything identifying.
Inside the first layer
Each item is wrapped individually in unprinted matte tissue, with discreet honeycomb paper void-fill instead of branded air pillows. There is no invoice slip in the box; if you need an invoice for tax or warranty purposes, it’s emailed separately as a PDF.
Sender alias
By default the “From” line on the carrier label reads Rouwu Lifestyle Co. — a deliberately neutral name we registered specifically for this use. You can override it at checkout with anything you like, subject to two limits:
- It must look like a real business name (carrier filters reject things like personal names or random strings).
- It can’t include obscenities, the SOUCI brand name, or anything that could obviously be re-identified as an adult shop.
Common aliases customers use: Studio Mail Co., North Atelier, Linen & Co., Editor’s Office. Whatever you pick is also reflected on any tracking emails the carrier sends.
What the carrier sees
We tell carriers as little as possible — just enough to deliver the parcel and give them a category for any customs declaration. The table below shows exactly what gets sent and what’s withheld.

Free standard shipping on every order over $99. Express upgrade is a flat add-on at checkout and ships in the same discreet packaging.
Tracking notifications
By default we email you a single notification when your parcel ships and another when it’s delivered. SMS tracking is opt-in. You can switch either off at any point in Privacy Center; doing so stops both our notifications and any the carrier might attempt.
If you live in a shared household and prefer no notifications at all, choose “Silent delivery” at checkout. The parcel still ships normally — you’ll just need to check the order status manually in Orders.
Returns & exchanges
Returns ship in the same discreet packaging — we send a return label and a fresh kraft box (no logo, sender alias of your choice). For hygiene reasons unopened items only; opened personal-care items are non-returnable but will be replaced free if defective. The full policy is on the Refunds & Returns page.
What we do with the records
Shipping data is treated as the most sensitive category in our system. The retention rules are strict and automatic:
- Carrier-side tracking number is purged from your order record 30 days after delivery confirmation.
- Recipient address remains on the order (you may need it for warranty), but is never used for marketing.
- The carrier itself retains tracking events according to its own policy — typically 60–90 days. We can’t override that, but we don’t query it after the 30-day window.
- You can force-delete shipping records at any time via the “Clear browsing & shipping history” button in Privacy Center.
Special situations
Apartment buildings & concierge desks
Carriers will leave the kraft box at your concierge desk if delivery to your unit fails. The package shows your name on the label — anyone looking at the desk pile sees a plain brown box addressed to you, indistinguishable from a regular online purchase.
Signature on delivery
Standard shipping does not require a signature. Express ships with a signature option available at checkout for orders over $200. If you’d rather not sign for any parcel, leave a note in the order’s delivery instructions field and we’ll pass it to the carrier.
Pickup & lockers
Most regions support carrier pickup points and parcel lockers as the delivery destination. Choose one at checkout and you’ll get a 1-time pickup code instead of a home delivery — the kraft box is still unbranded, so no one staffing the pickup point sees anything beyond a plain parcel.
FAQ
Will the bank statement give it away?
No. The card statement shows only the legal-entity descriptor we registered with our payment processor — nothing about the product category. The exact descriptor format is configurable per region; check the receipt email for the string that will appear.
Can I send a SOUCI order as a gift to a different address?
Yes. At checkout, choose “Ship to a different address” and the parcel ships to the gift recipient with no invoice or pricing inside. You can also pre-pay an exchange voucher in case they want to swap.
What happens if the box is damaged in transit?
Photograph the box before opening it and email [email protected]. Replacements ship the same day, in the same discreet packaging. We absorb the carrier dispute on our side — you don’t have to deal with the carrier directly.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, with the customs disclaimer noted in the table above. Some destination countries restrict adult-category imports — if your country is on the no-ship list, you’ll see a message at checkout before payment.
